The shape of Yamake is lends itself amazingly well to my current work 'luchador heads', a series of fictitous latin american wrestler masks painted onto old motor bike helmets. The history of the 'mascaras' is a significant part of lucha libre, dating back to the days of the aztecs the beautifully crafted individual masks are handed down father to son, immortalizing the iconic luchador as a superman.
